On Your Own....Healthcare Workers

Are Healthcare Workers ...
On Their Own when it Comes to Situations That Arise in Hospital Settings? As a Part of Healthcare Workers Jobs, they are put in Situations Daily that can Effect them. Situations like Physical Abuse, being Spit on, being called Names other than their Own, Scratched and Bitten to name a Few things that Healthcare Workers can be subjected to.  Understanding that Patients have Rights, What Rights do Healthcare Workers Have? Healthcare Workers can sometimes be Treated as Criminals....not People who do One of the Most Important Jobs in the Work Force. HCW is a Stressful but Rewarding Job. Having to Watch your every move, for your Own Protection....does not Help!

Hospital Situation: Your Family member is in the Hospital. Your Family member complains about not receiving the Care they think they should.  For Instance when they put on the Call bell...it's take a long time before The  assistant or nurse answers the Call Bell.  What would You do????
